As the Headteacher of St Monica’s RC High School I warmly welcome you to the St Monica’s website which I hope you will find very useful and full of important information.  It is both an honour and a privilege to serve our young people and I am very proud of our whole school community.  We are a Catholic family, diverse and different, supporting each other in all we do through prayer and service.  Our mission statement encapsulates the values of our school as a lived experience every day.

Our prime focus is to prepare our pupils so that they are ready to take their place in the world.  This is accomplished through a broad and balanced curriculum that has high aspirations for all pupils alongside excellent teaching and learning.  Our curriculum goes beyond the individual subjects with many enrichment and personal development opportunities available.
