Please see below to learn more about the Performing Arts curriculum at St Monica’s.
To educate, develop and inspire students to use their God given talents and provide them with the knowledge for lifelong enjoyment of Drama.
To enable pupils to understand the wider benefits of a knowledge of performance technique, not just in a performance setting.
To develop better citizens through team work, cooperation, effort, resilience, self-discipline and responsibility.
The overall intent of the Drama curriculum is to arm our pupils with valuable transferrable skills that will not only support pupils who wish to pursue Arts Education further, but will empower all pupils to use these skills, whatever their chosen path may be.
